The Unshackled Elephant - Reflections from Chapter 3

When an elephant is young, a heavy chain is wrapped around his right hind leg. After endless attempts toward freedom, the young one surrenders "to the idea that he can't go anywhere..."

We are like that elephant.

God has given us so much, but many have bought into the lie. "We have been conditioned to believe what is false, to stop when things feel hard, and to miss out on God's incredible purpose" for us . . . to do hard things.

"Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults." I Corinthians 14:20
